Charles Franklin Johnson (c. 1948 – July 13, 2013) was the father of Randy Charles Johnson. He married Agnes Johnson on September 25, 1965; both were underage. He worked at a wood products business run by Jimmy Elliott and later at Burke Line. In 1984, Elliott hired Agnes and 13-year-old Randy to build pallets.
Charles and his father Burley Johnson once burned a car for insurance money; a neighbor saw them but kept silent. When Agnes had her breakdown in 1993, Charles took off work to bring her home. He and Agnes signed the papers to release Norman Green from Eastern State in 1982. He died of leukemia on July 13, 2013, four months after Agnes. His last Christmas was 2012; Randy knew he was dying but didn't realize it would be Agnes's last Christmas too.
